It’s safe to say the title statement essentially sums this up.
Since our first shipment, BBC has pretty much been the shop’s model for consistency. The freezer has been filled, emptied, re-filled, and done all over again at least 3 times, with each drop outdoing the last. With such an astounding track record at their disposal, there aren’t too many praises that haven’t already been sung.
Unlike our previous tee-exclusive drop, this one beholds a tad more variety, an obvious precursor to the heat set to drop as autumn pulls around. Unfortunately, there’s only one chance left to cop the jeans featured after the jump, as the other pairs were immediately snagged by the lucky shoppers on the scene as soon as the box was opened.
Better luck next time.

I dunno if this is a good thing or bad (although I’m willing to put my money on “good”), but there doesn’t seem to be much of anything you guys have forgotten about – or at least haven’t already been reminded of. With that said, I’ve taken it upon myself to change things a bit, once again. Instead of struggling to fit together looks from the million-piece jigsaw puzzle that makes up our “less-fond-of” selection, I figured I’d just show you how its done.
The only people who don’t like to see fat boys get fly are the designers stuck in their imaginary utopias rife with condescending ideals and unrealistic portrayals of humanity that really only accounts for about 12 percent of us. We can’t all be Greek gods, but apparently it pays to be a stick figure. I said all that to explain why Chris is once again our TYFA coverboy.
Now like I mentioned in the first paragraph there’s almost nothing in the shop that I haven’t showcased in at least one of these posts. So it was inevitable that something new would make the cut. A lot of the F² faithful have been showing considerable interest in the new Android Homme’s we’ve recently stocked, yet no one seems to be able to put together a cohesive look for them – at least until now…
By all means, feel free to swagger-jack.
On Chris:
Top: New Gould Rock Shirt by G-Star Raw
Bottom: New Standard Noir by A.P.C.
Shoes: Propulsion Hi by Android Homme
Bag: Tank Nylon Bag by G-Star
Shades: Stache by Von Zipper

For the longest our G-Star collection has been dominated by button-ups and cargo shorts, well all that’s gonna change (half of that at least). We realized that sometimes you want something a little bit heavier than Hanes between you and your collars when you head out. So we figured we’d help you out a bit and introduce a little flair to underwear (okay lets slow it down).
We’ve got packs on packs on packs of these G-Star Classic tees. Coming in sets of 2, it’s likely they understood that you might need a spare and took the care in packing you one. For those of you who need variety, G-Star made the provisions by sending us 3 colors and both v-neck and crew style (I’m sure the v-necks are gonna go first). We aren’t expecting the stock to exhaust within the first week, as we ordered quite the bulk, but we’re sure that a few of you are gonna take a little liberty when you cop.
Oh yea, I almost forgot to mention the shorts.
(Now you know)

“A piece of paper is plain and dimensionless. By carefully following a series of precise folds, that piece of paper transforms into a three-dimensional work of art and craftsmanship. The finished product reveals itself as more than just art, but as a physical manifestation of the creator’s self-expression and individuality. Once known as ORISUE, this craft is now commonly known as origami.”
That is the opening paragraph of Orisue’s mission statement, and if you didn’t happen to catch the message, let me spell it out for you – they take their craft very, VERY, seriously.Just one look at the latest season, and the former statement becomes clearly evident. Every stitch, every crease, every cut, looks thought out and deliberate. By design these are all delicately designed pieces with every feature holding a defined purpose.
Naturally one would expect labels that hold their products to such high standards to eventually overshoot their mark by going too over-the-top, or come up drastically short by being too simple. Yet Orisue manages to maintain the fine balance between innovation and fuction, creating refined and well honed garments that can be integrated into any outfit.
The only thing better than knowing that youre getting top qualty product, is knowing that there’s more on the way. Let me emphasize that “more” (MORE!). This is just the first drop in a pretty dense Fall/Winter order. Needless to say, your ears should be perked. (bookmark this page…)

With more straps than a straight jacket and ankle support to the moon, the futuristic, space-boot aesthetic has been fostered, advanced and swagger-jacked by nearly everyone looking to get a piece of the sneaker market. From Diet Butcher, Ato Matsumoto, Yohji Yamamoto, Raf Simmons, Supra, and even Nike (Air Yeezy, anyone?), the architecture of footwear seems to headed in the same direction as our skylines. And the pair above is no exception.
Coming out of L.A., Android Homme (pronounced “ôm” or “awm”) has been putting in work pushing the boundaries (and heights) of modern footwear. This time it’s round 2 for the newly re-tooled Propulsion Hi. Many of you got your first look at the Propulsion from last year’s holiday collection, and my what a difference a year makes.
Dramatically grown up from the patent-leather heavy editions of yesteryear, this drop sports a much less glitzy exterior. Featuring a well combinated upper of buttery suede and suave leather, these are sure to break necks – albeit in a less blinding sort of way. Like the pair below these pups sport heavily padded ankles and an all white vulcanized sole.
But wait, theres more!
In addition to the B/W color-up, we’ve also stocked a sick-ass pair in ash grey. You might have seen this pair floating around the web recently (most notably kicksonfire.com) but now you can get all hands-on with em yourself. Featuring uppers comprised of a slick distressed leather, with cream ankle pads atop an all white sole. While the black & white colorway might be the more conventional choice for those who wanna keep things fresh, the color and material on the ash pair provide a stark contrast in philosophy – like denim, these actually get better with age.
Autotune may be over, but you can still match the scene when Drake or Cudi start playing. Rocket-boots never looked so good.

My, my, Mr. Dyrdek, you have been busy. If you’ve ever heard of Rob Dyrdek (a name you should have if you’ve been alive at any point within the past 3 years) then it should be a given that you’ve heard of his sponsor, DC Shoes. Well since ‘07 DC’s been making strides in the world off-board and the newest addition to their collection (dubbed DC Life) demonstrates how their considerable growth and innovation is finally starting to hit its peak. The wild thing you see above is the latest signature sneak of none other than Dyrdek himself.
DC’s always had a penchant for flamboyant design, from the super-techie made-for-skate fat-boy lows, to their skyscraping high top lifestyle shoes. These obviously follow in the footsteps of the latter, with the extra high cut sporting some ridiculously padded ankle supports that may only truly close if you use the velcro strap. The combo patent leather and nylon canvas panels set atop an all white sole make this a runway look while still holding true to the label’s signature style.
But don’t be fooled, just because this looks like a runway shoe doesn’t mean you should easily for get who made them. DC is still a skate company first, which means comfort and durability are of the highest priorities. Look good and feel good, now that’s the life.

It’s time for a bigger clubhouse. The amount of new BBC/Ice Cream we’ve had in the past 2 weeks or so has our entire display running over. It used to just be the freezer. I’m not sure who’s the closest spot in the region carrying this stuff but whoever it is, I’m pretty sure they don’t have as much as we do. Whats really wild though, is that there’s even more on the way! And who knows what’s been slated to come in on the next drop. Till then, here’s a few more tees to keep you going through the next few weeks.

We’ve had a lot of plaid come through our doors over the past year or so, but among the masses that have graced the racks I don’t recall any being from G-Star. So with Autumn right around the corner this small preview is certainly enough to get our chops dripping for what’s coming down the line. G-Star doesn’t seem to do anything wrong, and judging from the shot above, plaid is no exception. Looks like 10.Deep has a rival.

Our last drop of Rock & Republic denim came in to mixed reviews. Some takers dug the detail in the paint and rivets, while naysayers criticized the apparent “girliness” caused by said features. With aesthetic deterrents in mind we’ve brought in another shipment, and this time it’s something you might be a bit more familiar with. We decided to chuck all the flashy studs and paint streaks and run with a simple wash and the more recognizable embroidery – because the whole “less is more” thing seems to work for us. Hopefully you guys agree with the sentiment, ’cause we’d hate to have sleepers when it comes to our denim (*cough* Best in the city *cough*)
