Things You Forgot About…
It’s been a little while since we’ve done one of these, so to make up for the lost time we’re bringing you a TYFA double-header. For this week’s edition we’ve got our new young’ns Leedan and Samir to give you guys some fresh faces ’cause God knows you were tired of LB (JK 
!)
Anyway we’ve got Pretty Habi… uh Samir switching it up a little by going clean up top with the “Bird” vest over a “Torpedo” button-up, both by Play Cloths. As for the lower half however, he kept it street donning a hard pair of GoldSpun’s Renegade jeans and fresh Air Jordan Spizikes. The Cleveland Indians snap-back was his own but the navy blue offset the Red/Black motif and added some nice flair to the look.
Then we have Leedan. Son decided to flex his inner Yeezy, mashing up all kinds of genres for this look. On the upper he’s got the simply named “Buttondown Shirt” by progressive NY streetwear troupe Amongst Friends. Over that he went high fashion with a Front Vest Knit by Dutch superbrand G-Star, showing some sharp sensibility by pushing up the sleeves to expose the checkered cuffs underneath. For the bottom, he kept it All-Americana with a pair of Levi’s 511 Skinny jeans (finally giving APC a break as our usual skinny model) and a pair of Pro-Keds Royal CVO’s , a classy choice which really put a period on the whole look. But a little bit of his true self came out when he topped it all off with an iconic Adam Bomb hat from TH. I guess a period wasn’t enough, he wanted an exclamation point!
Overall, I must give props to these guys for thinking way outside their respective boxes and showing off some real versatility, an uncanny trait for most people their age. These dudes are way ahead of the curve in terms of their individual styles. Look for them to keep our future TYFA posts just as flarey as this one. Props!
