Freezer Burn…

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

It’s time for a bigger clubhouse. The amount of new BBC/Ice Cream we’ve had in the past 2 weeks or so has our entire display running over. It used to just be the freezer. I’m not sure who’s the closest spot in the region carrying this stuff but whoever it is, I’m pretty sure they don’t have as much as we do. Whats really wild though, is that there’s even more on the way! And who knows what’s been slated to come in on the next drop. Till then, here’s a few more tees to keep you going through the next few weeks.

Something New…

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

We’ve had a lot of plaid come through our doors over the past year or so, but among the masses that have graced the racks I don’t recall any being from G-Star. So with Autumn right around the corner this small preview is certainly enough to get our chops dripping for what’s coming down the line. G-Star doesn’t seem to do anything wrong, and judging from the shot above, plaid is no exception. Looks like 10.Deep has a rival.

You Should Be Rocking…

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

Our last drop of Rock & Republic denim came in to mixed reviews. Some takers dug the detail in the paint and rivets, while naysayers criticized the apparent “girliness” caused by said features. With aesthetic deterrents in mind we’ve brought in another shipment, and this time it’s something you might be a bit more familiar with. We decided to chuck all the flashy studs and paint streaks and run with a simple wash and the more recognizable embroidery – because the whole “less is more” thing seems to work for us. Hopefully you guys agree with the sentiment, ’cause we’d hate to have sleepers when it comes to our denim (*cough* Best in the city *cough*)

A Piece of History…

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

Every now and again a drop comes through with contents that require a bit more class to pull off properly. And by class I don’t mean getting all whored down with giant Polo horses. Sometimes it takes a little less than a continually overused logo. Sometimes you gotta get your shoes a little dirty (sort of). Vintage Americana is where it’s at on this drop, and the fashions you see above are brought to you than none other than – wait for it – Timberland!

Now before you go turning your noses up and completely write these off, hear me out at least. These Timbs aren’t the old tree stamps you’ve grown accustomed to, and you wont go stomping a mudhole in anyone with ‘em either. Manufactured by Timberland Boot Co. (same guys, higher tier) these were crafted with a timeless, blue collar aesthetic in mind, complete with pre-made creases, scuffs, over-polishing and the like.

For those out there that get all paranoid when you stub your toe or feel someone kick your heel, these ain’t fresh whites! So take it easy, the extra damage is probably doing you a favor. And since hobo chic doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon, feel free to F’ these up even more – it might feel good to lose the duck walk for a change.

What The Game’s Been Missing…

Saturday, July 24th, 2010

There was quite a bit of nail biting and pacing in anticipation of our first drop from The ‘Deep this Summer. And the result? An absolute shit-ton of heat F.Y.A.! Of Course you know, we have to keep our button down game on lock, but theres also tees and convertible shorts for those of you looking to add some versatility to your looks. Here’s hoping shipment two looks as good if not better.

Things You Forgot About…

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

We took the simple approach to a whole new level this week. Since our boy Kirk (last name “Cocaine”) came back in town, it was only fair to get him up in front of the lens, just to give you guys a break from Sheed, Chris and – well I guess just Sheed and Chris. Not too fond of being shot below the waist – for obvious reasons (NO HOMO) Kircaina over here opted just for the top half of things. Feeling just a little artsy I figured I’d try to pull off my best Terry Richardson emulation – to minimal fanfare.

Now what’s weird is that it seems lately you guys have got mad love for all things Play Cloths, at least nearly. Seeing how almost everything else has either sold out or has been reduced to a sole remaining size, I’m kinda wondering why the threads above have apparently been so poorly received. A travesty such as this is beckoning explanation. You guys haven’t just been sleeping, you’ve been hibernating! Snapbacks are popping, and polos always hit. Do yourself a favor and come cop some of this already! It might hit with that next pair of Jordans – or Maxes…

103 and Counting…

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

As labels start gearing up in anticipation of the August/Autumn turn, you kind of can’t help but wonder “Where the hell did my summer go?!” As if stricken down by some sudden case of amnesia or complete omission/refusal to acknowledge the prevailing time – blistering heat waves running rampant, any attempts to preserve hat little ozone we have left are thwarted due to our atmosphere being dominated by the interminable flow of freyon thrust from the bowels of overworked AC units, your neighborhood wreaks of dried sweat, sunscreen and bug repellent – somewhere someone is crying, FOR A NEW FRIGGIN TEE SHIRT!

And that’s why we keep our BBC in a freezer. The latest drop no doubt serves as a Godsend to all of those looking to escape the wrinkled collar plague, and look – we’ve got accessories too! So the next time you feel yourself frying wherever you’re standing, feel free to drop a bill or two. It’s never hot in space, just ask a Moon Man.

Picking Up…

Sunday, July 18th, 2010

We’ve been steady coasting since the start of summer a few weeks back, and it’s been pretty much smooth sailing for the time being. But with that oh so ominous 1st day of school steadily encroaching, it’s about time start pressing forward into the latter half of this solstice.

And that’s where G-Star comes in.

Not exactly the largest drop we’ve had in recent memory, but still quality nonetheless. Of course denim shorts and button-up’s are still the calling card, and that blue – oh that blue…

Things You Forgot About…

Sunday, July 18th, 2010

Still taking the simple approach to things, this weeks TYFA features another cameo from an esteemed friend of the family. Jeff’s no stranger to these pages, and the chill that homie exudes ironically adds just the right amount of flair to make our perfectly little slice of cool all the more epic.

Things You Forgot About…

Like I said last time, “Simplify”. That’s my word and I’m sticking to it. So we have yet another TYFA featuring Young Chris (Jesus at this point, publicity whore is almost an understatement), Play Cloths’d (?) out chillin out on the deck between sips of his Snapple (not pictured).

With the heat index regularly topping triple digits lately, it’s about time to ditch the cargos. While you’re at it, just lose the socks as well; and v-necks are a foregone conclusion as everyone’s been like “F**k the crew tees!” since what last August? It’s Summer, a southern one at that. Give the board shorts a chance, your balls will thank you for it.
