Every now and again a drop comes through with contents that require a bit more class to pull off properly. And by class I don’t mean getting all whored down with giant Polo horses. Sometimes it takes a little less than a continually overused logo. Sometimes you gotta get your shoes a little dirty (sort of). Vintage Americana is where it’s at on this drop, and the fashions you see above are brought to you than none other than – wait for it – Timberland!
Now before you go turning your noses up and completely write these off, hear me out at least. These Timbs aren’t the old tree stamps you’ve grown accustomed to, and you wont go stomping a mudhole in anyone with ‘em either. Manufactured by Timberland Boot Co. (same guys, higher tier) these were crafted with a timeless, blue collar aesthetic in mind, complete with pre-made creases, scuffs, over-polishing and the like.
For those out there that get all paranoid when you stub your toe or feel someone kick your heel, these ain’t fresh whites! So take it easy, the extra damage is probably doing you a favor. And since hobo chic doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon, feel free to F’ these up even more – it might feel good to lose the duck walk for a change.
