Well, we’ve decided once again to re-invent TYFA. Rather than putting together elaborate and time consuming photo shoots, were gonna simplify things a bit and go one shot, one kill (save the big projects for Keelan). With that being said, we’ve got Sheed holding it down 2 weeks in a row (a rare thing these days). Now these threads aren’t exactly dated, but they’ve certainly been slept on pretty hard by you guys – I mean c’mon, what’s the deal?! Where you at?! It’s a good thing we’ve got that sale in the post above…

Small drops have been the name of the game lately. I mean after all, it is Summer, and around this time the tepid, trend-heavy waters of this solstice are churning at full speed. With so many different flavors on the scene at once, it’s virtually impossible to touch ‘em all. So with the last few drops being a bit tee-biased, we decided to bring in a few button-ups to satisfy our more casual consumer. Who better to bring in than possibly our most casual brand, Amongst Friends. Like I said, it was a small drop but a relevant one nonetheless. Although the whole plaid thing might be a little overused by now, one can never go wrong with the herringbone. It takes a soft touch and a minimalist approach to truly pull off a timeless plaid pattern, you’d be hard pressed to find one’s cleaner than this.

The last drop From Play Cloths got so much love that we just felt it was necessary bring on an encore. The graphic tee heavy drop lent itself well to PC die hards, but for the more reserved (grown) crowd this release is a bit easier on the eyes. The simple v-necks and caps provide a bit of refinement and add a touch of simplicity to what has been a pretty busy season thus far.

New eye, erm – wrist candy from G-Shock recently showed up to pack out our case. In typical GS fashion, theres no slack when it comes to bringing on the color. So bright you can almost taste them, the hues utilized this time around look more suitable for a children’s coloring book than a grown man’s outfit – which apparently seems to be just the way you like it. But hold the phone, there’s even more! In addition to the new technicolor X-Large’s, we’ve got a restock on all Mirror Dial models. We remember how quickly these moved when last we had them in stock, so we made sure we doubled up on the order this time around. With the amount of watches we’ve got in stock now, there’s really no excuse for not finding your favorite color. That is unless, you sleep of course.

This is your pilot speaking…

Another cold drop by BBC/Ice Cream has refilled the cooler to near total capacity. There’s quite a bit to see with this drop, at least as far as t-shirts go; but there are also a few new shorts and button-ups for those of you looking to diversify your allegiances with the Spaceman. Still keep on alert, I hear this Summer’s gonna be pretty chilly.

Alrite now, stop oggling the post below. Dude was mad cool, and I know you wish you had been there, but it’s time for more current issues.

That said, TYFA! Boredom reared it’s ugly head earlier this week, so in good fun our boy Rome decided to get G’d up just for kicks. Fortunately, I was feeling the mood that day and got busy with the cam. What started off as an “All Black Everything” look eventually turned into a “Duffel Bag Boy” sorta thing. Some of the stuff Rome had donned wasn’t exactly gear you’d all forgotten, but at the rate they were moving at the time (why are you sleeping on this?!) it ended up working out. Ever the opportunist, Sheed decided to get his glam on too, causing what had become a “DB²” affair into an “Exchange”. Sure the stuff in the bags aren’t all that dated either, but free plugs can’t hurt.

BTW, I gotta give credit where credit is due. This has gotta be like the 4th time we’ve done a shoot like this. So props to Keelan for being our original Duffel Bag Boy back in what – October, I think. It’s safe to say that TYFA wouldn’t be what it is now if not for that shoot.

Guess who dropped in on us today? Alright I guess the picture gave it away. Anywho our boy Wiz Khalifa stopped in and billed with us for a hot second. Dude is mad chill and seemed seriously surprised that spots like ours even existed in NC (shit like that just backs up how exclusive we really are!). Cats in the shop didn’t even notice it was Wiz till somebody -and I won’t drop names (Chris) – had to open up the trap. But even still, it was all good. But man if I didn’t have bad luck, I’d have none at all – the camera tanked just as I went in for the kill. Oh well, these things happen. Thank the Most High for modern technology cuz the cell phone saved the day! Of course you know we couldn’t let him bounce without getting him set with a little something (if you were at the show you saw him rockin it, so come through). Caught a few vids with him chatting it up with Sheed and a special shout out to all the shop’s fam – you too KP. I know for damn sure that the pic at the top will be on Young Chris’ FB page tonite. Hopefully next time we can get him to stick around a little longer. Till then, its Taylor Gang BEEEYTCH!
