After much anticipation, the Louis Vuitton Don’s new website has finally launched. The newly renovated dot-com is a total reinvisioning with some cool-ass aesthetics and features that are no doubt the imaginings of Yeezy himself, although at first navigation can be a bit tricky in his world. Die hard bloggers and throngs of fans may be a bit set back by the lack of posts so far (only 2 right now), but I’m sure a bare assed Ms. Rose will more than make up for that…

Going Dutch…

The past 2 weeks have been pretty eventful as we’ve seen a ton of drops come in. All of which are just in time for the CIAA weekend and all of its goings on. Latest to check in comes from G-Star. I’ts been a while since we’ve seen new product from these guys, but as expected, the Dutch megabrand remains steadfast in its roots, providing only the best in everything raw denim. After all, they did invent the damn thing.
While we did receive a solid shipment of the expected denim and apparel, this drop looks a little more accessory-oriented. Bringing in a handful of belts and hats as well as a dope assortment of bags for all you traveling types. A welcome change as I gotta admit, we were lacking a little in that department. All denim of course, but what else would you expect.

Woo-hoo! More of the goods! We’re starting to see a trend here. The drops from BBC/Ice Cream are steadily rolling on in and seem to be getting better and better with each subsequent release. Though they’re not coming in hordes, the caliber of product is clearly increasing. Not to mention, the first batch of the iconic “Running Dog” denim came in on this shipment, and with a dope ass lumberjack by Ice Cream to complement, were pretty sure this is gonna move quick. I mean, seeing how we’re the only ones in the state with this stuff AND seeing how its CIAA week it, ain’t much of a stretch to expect a sell-out – especially if you’ve got someone to impress…

Another drop from Polo hit the shelves today. RL doesn’t seem to deviate from it’s classic material as this release follows what we’ve come to expect out of Polo. Some slick button-ups, and smooth jackets are on the bill for this one, and with this week being what it is, you might wanna scoop these up with the quickness. You never know, you could get lucky.

As this year steadily progresses, the Nike’s relentless pursuit to dominate the shoe game pushes on. With the uber-hyped drops racking up, it’s nice to finally see something a little bit more accessible (ergo, affordable). The newest drops include some classic faves for the casual player such as a couple of the the latest Blazers – one laced for all the old schoolers, and one strapped for all the really old schoolers (and hipsters). Never ones lighten up on color Nike also dropped a pair of classic Air Structures and a newer model – the Toki. All 4 pairs are pretty fresh and can definitely add much needed flavor to any look.

If you hadn’t heard already, we are NC’s ONLY OFFICIAL BBC/Ice Cream retailer (anywhere else, and it’s fake!). So to commemorate such landmark status, we figured we’d go all out. We got a 6-foot spaceman, but somehow that just didn’t feel like enough. So a few ideas were kicked around and someone thought “Wouldn’t it be dope to cop Ice Cream out of a freezer?” fast forward a few weeks and voila! A nearly completed realization of the aforementioned idea. There are still a couple more kinks to work out, but so far the whole freezer project is proving to be noteworthy decision. I’ll have the whole look posted once it’s completed but till then, here are a few before & after pics of the progress so far.
