I dunno if this is a good thing or bad (although I’m willing to put my money on “good”), but there doesn’t seem to be much of anything you guys have forgotten about – or at least haven’t already been reminded of. With that said, I’ve taken it upon myself to change things a bit, once again. Instead of struggling to fit together looks from the million-piece jigsaw puzzle that makes up our “less-fond-of” selection, I figured I’d just show you how its done.

The only people who don’t like to see fat boys get fly are the designers stuck in their imaginary utopias rife with condescending ideals and unrealistic portrayals of humanity that really only accounts for about 12 percent of us. We can’t all be Greek gods, but apparently it pays to be a stick figure. I said all that to explain why Chris is once again our TYFA coverboy.

Now like I mentioned in the first paragraph there’s almost nothing in the shop that I haven’t showcased in at least one of these posts. So it was inevitable that something new would make the cut. A lot of the F² faithful have been showing considerable interest in the new Android Homme’s we’ve recently stocked, yet no one seems to be able to put together a cohesive look for them – at least until now…

We took the simple approach to a whole new level this week. Since our boy Kirk (last name “Cocaine”) came back in town, it was only fair to get him up in front of the lens, just to give you guys a break from Sheed, Chris and – well I guess just Sheed and Chris. Not too fond of being shot below the waist – for obvious reasons (NO HOMO) Kircaina over here opted just for the top half of things. Feeling just a little artsy I figured I’d try to pull off my best Terry Richardson emulation – to minimal fanfare.

Now what’s weird is that it seems lately you guys have got mad love for all things Play Cloths, at least nearly. Seeing how almost everything else has either sold out or has been reduced to a sole remaining size, I’m kinda wondering why the threads above have apparently been so poorly received. A travesty such as this is beckoning explanation. You guys haven’t just been sleeping, you’ve been hibernating! Snapbacks are popping, and polos always hit. Do yourself a favor and come cop some of this already! It might hit with that next pair of Jordans – or Maxes…

Like I said last time, “Simplify”. That’s my word and I’m sticking to it. So we have yet another TYFA featuring Young Chris (Jesus at this point, publicity whore is almost an understatement), Play Cloths’d (?) out chillin out on the deck between sips of his Snapple (not pictured).

With the heat index regularly topping triple digits lately, it’s about time to ditch the cargos. While you’re at it, just lose the socks as well; and v-necks are a foregone conclusion as everyone’s been like “F**k the crew tees!” since what last August? It’s Summer, a southern one at that. Give the board shorts a chance, your balls will thank you for it.

Alrite now, stop oggling the post below. Dude was mad cool, and I know you wish you had been there, but it’s time for more current issues.

That said, TYFA! Boredom reared it’s ugly head earlier this week, so in good fun our boy Rome decided to get G’d up just for kicks. Fortunately, I was feeling the mood that day and got busy with the cam. What started off as an “All Black Everything” look eventually turned into a “Duffel Bag Boy” sorta thing. Some of the stuff Rome had donned wasn’t exactly gear you’d all forgotten, but at the rate they were moving at the time (why are you sleeping on this?!) it ended up working out. Ever the opportunist, Sheed decided to get his glam on too, causing what had become a “DB²” affair into an “Exchange”. Sure the stuff in the bags aren’t all that dated either, but free plugs can’t hurt.

BTW, I gotta give credit where credit is due. This has gotta be like the 4th time we’ve done a shoot like this. So props to Keelan for being our original Duffel Bag Boy back in what – October, I think. It’s safe to say that TYFA wouldn’t be what it is now if not for that shoot.

This week TYFA’s gonna be a little different. In fact, were not even gonna call it TYFA. No flashy setups, no elaborate scenery or urban exploration, no wall climbing or random acts of stupidity. Just a regular shoot on a regular day at the shop – because it’s just too effin’ hot outside, dammit!

So, we’ve got yet another appearance from Chris Cudi and – Sheed?! Man, Sheed ain’t been on the blog since he was on the blog! Anyway, nothing spectacular, just the guys showing off some threads you’re all sleeping on and some stuff you need to be up on (Chris might have gone a little too hard with that tank though), all while going through the daily motions. No love for the Celtics here. And Young Chris is stuntin now that school’s out. Don’t you wish you worked here too?

This weeks TYFA got our man Chris gettin fly again! Yo if I keep giving this guy makeovers I might hafta start charging. Anyway, with the impending Bin 23 release (tomorrow @ 11am sharp – for those of you who keep asking), the heads are already starting to pile up. So in kind of a tribute to them we had Chris pose as one of the “firsties” (using a bench courtesy of one such firstie). We where hoping to make this kind of a “Things you forgot about” meets “Things you won’t shut up about”, but there wasn’t enough red/white/gold apparel to go around, so we ended up doing the next best thing. Out comes the BBC/Ice Cream and about 20 minutes later Chris has some new Facebook pics. Nice.

BTW, I wonder how long that line is now. Stay tuned!
